How to use it
- Tap the document you want to prepare — each one is already set to the size in the official notification.
- Select a photo or scan from your phone. For the signature, thumb or declaration, the paper is cleaned to white and cropped automatically.
- Check the preview: the size and KB shown must be inside the official range.
- Download the JPG and upload it to the SBI PO application form. Your live photo is taken inside the form itself.

Rules for each document
Photograph
- Official: “Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)”, “Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb”.
- Printed size written “Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)”; read here as 3.5 cm wide × 4.5 cm high (portrait).
- Recent passport-style colour photo, light-coloured (preferably white) background, look straight with a relaxed face, no red-eye, no reflections on glasses.
- “Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover the face.”
- Keep about 8 copies of the same photograph.
Live photograph (webcam / mobile)
- Required in addition to the uploaded photo: “Capture Photo” uses the webcam, “Click here to Scan” lets you use your phone via QR code. No pixel or KB limit is given — it is captured in the form.
- Do: light-coloured, preferably white background with adequate light; look straight at the camera; passport-size framing.
- Don't: small photo; coloured glasses / sunglasses / cap; shadow on face, not facing the camera, distorted face, mask, blurred image; dark or improper background.
Signature
- Official: “Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)”, “Size of file should be between 10kb to 20kb”.
- “The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.” Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS is NOT accepted.
- Signed only by the applicant; it is printed on the call letter. Mismatch at the exam = disqualification.
Left-hand thumb impression
- Official: “240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 3 cm x 3 cm (Width x Height)”, “File Size: 20 kb- 50 kb”, “File Type: jpg/jpeg”.
- White paper with black or blue ink. No left-hand thumb → right-hand thumb may be used.
Hand-written declaration
- Declaration text: “I________(Name of the candidate), _______(Date of Birth) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine”.
- Unlike IBPS, SBI's text includes your Date of Birth and the line about signature, photograph and thumb impression.
- Write in English, clearly, on white paper with black ink. Declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS is NOT accepted.
SBI PO declaration text
“I________(Name of the candidate), _______(Date of Birth) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine”
Write it in your own handwriting in English, not in capital letters, then use the Declaration tab above.
General instructions
- Scanner: minimum 200 dpi, True Colour. Photo, signature, thumb and declaration must be the applicant's own.
- Exam day: call letter with photo pasted plus two additional copies of the same photograph. Biometric (photo / thumb / iris) may be captured — do not apply mehandi, ink or chemicals on hands.
- Annexure II is word-for-word the same as SBI PO 2025 (CRPD/PO/2025-26/04).

Where official sources disagree
- Pixel sizes are “(preferred)”; KB ranges are what the form enforces.
- Photo “200 x 230” / “4.5 cm x 3.5 cm” are not labelled width × height.
