How to use it
- Tap “Select PDF” and choose your file.
- Drag a page by its ⠿ handle to its new position (or press and hold the page first). Other pages move aside to make room.
- Or tap pages to select them and use Earlier / Later to move them one place at a time.
- Tap “Save PDF”, then “Download PDF”.
Three ways to move a page
- Drag the handle — every page has a ⠿ handle in its bottom-right corner. Put your finger or mouse on it and drag.
- Press and hold — on a phone, hold a page for a moment until it lifts, then drag.
- Earlier / Later buttons — select one or more pages and move them a step at a time. Selected pages move together and keep their order, which is handy for moving a whole section. This also works with a keyboard and screen readers.
Near the top or bottom of the screen the page list scrolls by itself while you drag, so you can carry page 90 to the front of a long file. Each page shows its new position number as you go.
Why the order matters for forms and offices
Exam portals, university admissions, bank KYC and visa checklists often ask for documents in a fixed order: application, then ID proof, then certificates from the highest qualification down. A reviewer flipping through a mixed-up PDF can reject it or miss a page. Put the pages in the checklist's order before you upload.
Nothing else changes
Rearranging doesn't touch the content of a page. Text stays selectable, scans keep their sharpness, links and bookmarks keep working, and the file size stays about the same. If you also need to turn, delete or copy pages, the same screen does that too — see Organize PDF.
