How to use it
- Type Hindi words in English letters, or paste a whole Hinglish message into the box.
- Typed words convert when you press space; a pasted message converts all at once.
- Fix any word by tapping one of the suggestions shown above the box.
- Copy the Hindi text or download it.
Transliteration, not translation
This tool changes the script, not the language. “aap kaise ho” becomes “आप कैसे हो” — the same Hindi words, written in Devanagari. It does not translate English sentences into Hindi: “how are you” would only be spelled out in Hindi letters. Write Hindi the way you would in a chat, and keep English words in English with a \ before them, in ALL CAPS, or by switching to English mode.
Convert a whole Hinglish message
Paste a message and every Hinglish word is converted at once. Numbers, English words in capitals, punctuation and line breaks stay as they were, and full stops become the danda (।) if that option is on.
| Hinglish | Hindi |
|---|---|
| main kal office nahi aaunga | मैं कल ऑफ़िस नहीं आऊंगा |
| aapka form jama ho gaya hai. | आपका फ़ॉर्म जमा हो गया है। |
| shubh deepaavali | शुभ दीपावली |
Getting the spelling right
- Common words like bharat, nahi, theek and kahan are recognised even with relaxed spelling.
- For rare words, write long vowels in full (aa, ee, oo) and use the suggestions to choose between close spellings.
- Counting words in the result? Paste it into the word counter, which counts Hindi correctly.
