How to use it
- Keep “240 × 240 px” and “20–50 KB” selected — the sizes used in IBPS / SBI forms — or choose Auto / Custom.
- Tap “Select Thumb Impression” and choose a photo of your thumb print on white paper.
- The print is cropped, centred and the paper turned pure white automatically. Rotate it if needed.
- Tap “Download Thumb Impression” and upload the JPG to your form.
How to take a good thumb impression
- Use a stamp pad with blue or black ink and a plain white sheet of paper.
- Press your left thumb on the pad, then roll it gently on the paper from one side to the other — the whole print should be visible.
- Let it dry, then photograph it in daylight from straight above, with no shadow from your phone.
- Fill most of the camera frame with the print; more pixels means clearer ridges after compression.
Size used in bank exam forms
| Document | Dimensions | File size |
|---|---|---|
| Left thumb impression (IBPS / SBI) | 240 × 240 px | 20 – 50 KB |
These are the sizes used in IBPS and SBI notifications in recent years. Requirements can change, so always confirm with the official notification of your exam before uploading.
Why the file is never “too small”
A clean 240 × 240 px print often compresses to well under 20 KB, which portals reject. ToolDabba adds harmless padding data inside the JPG so it lands safely within 20–50 KB — the picture itself does not change.
