Excel to PDF

Turn a spreadsheet — marks list, fee record, invoice or price list — into a PDF anyone can open and print, straight from your phone.

  • Deleted after converting
  • Free · no signup
  • Works on any phone

How to use it

  1. Choose the layout: “As printed (A4)” or “Each sheet on one page”.
  2. Tap “Select Excel file” and pick your .xlsx, .xls or .ods file (up to 25 MB).
  3. Wait a few seconds, then tap “Download PDF”. The file is already deleted from our server.

Two ways to lay out the pages

  • As printed (A4) follows the spreadsheet's own print settings — page size, orientation, print area and margins — exactly like printing from Excel. A sheet wider than the page continues on extra pages. Files that don't set a page size get A4.
  • Each sheet on one page puts every sheet on a single page sized to fit it, however wide or long. Nothing is cut off, which makes it the better choice for reading on a phone or sharing on WhatsApp.

Every sheet in the workbook becomes part of the PDF, in order. Hide or delete sheets you don't want before converting.

Tips for a neat PDF

  • Widen columns that show #### or cut-off text — the PDF shows cells exactly as they are sized in the file.
  • For “As printed”, set landscape orientation and “Fit all columns on one page” in Excel's Page Setup.
  • Hindi typed in Unicode comes out right; text in Kruti Dev fonts needs converting to Unicode first.

What happens to your file

Almost every ToolDabba tool works inside your browser. Converting Office files needs real office software, which can't run in a browser, so this tool is the exception:

  1. Your file is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our own server in Helsinki, Finland (Hetzner).
  2. It is converted automatically by a program that has no internet access of its own — no person looks at it.
  3. The converted file is sent back to your phone or computer.
  4. Both files are deleted immediately. We keep only the time, the size and how long it took — never the name or content.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my wide sheet split across several pages?

With “As printed (A4)” the PDF follows the print layout, so columns that don't fit the page width move to the next page — just like printing. Choose “Each sheet on one page” to keep every sheet whole on a single page.

Are all sheets converted?

Yes, every visible sheet in the file becomes part of the PDF, in order. Hide or delete sheets you don't want first.

Will formulas still work in the PDF?

A PDF shows the values the formulas calculated, as you see them in Excel. It can't recalculate — keep the Excel file if you need to change numbers.

Is it safe to upload my document?

Your file travels encrypted (HTTPS) to our server in Finland, is converted automatically — no person sees it — and is deleted together with the result as soon as the converted file is sent back to you, normally within seconds. We don't keep copies or use the content for anything else. Our other tools don't upload anything at all.
