How to use it

  1. 20 KB is already selected — just tap “Select Photos” and pick your image (JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC).
  2. Wait a second while the photo is compressed to 20 KB or just under it.
  3. Check the preview and the new size, then tap “Download”.

When do you need a 20 KB image?

Signatures are the most common reason. Most bank and government exam forms ask for a signature between 10 and 20 KB. 20 KB is also the minimum size for photos in many forms that use a 20–50 KB range — so if your photo is getting rejected as “too large”, 20 KB is a safe floor to try.

Getting a clean 20 KB signature

  • Sign with a black pen on plain white paper.
  • Take the photo in daylight, straight from above, without shadows.
  • Crop tightly around the signature before compressing — less empty paper means sharper ink.

Common upload sizes in bank exam forms

IBPS and SBI forms have used the following limits in recent years. Requirements can change, so treat this as a quick guide and always confirm with the official notification before you apply.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reduce a signature to 20 KB?

Take a photo of your signature, crop it, then select it here with 20 KB selected. The tool gives you a JPG of 20 KB or slightly less that you can upload directly.

My form needs between 10 KB and 20 KB. Will this work?

Yes. The tool aims to get as close to 20 KB as possible without going over, so the file normally lands between 15 and 20 KB — inside the allowed range.

Will the compressed photo be accepted in government and bank exam forms?

Yes. The output is a standard JPG, the format exam portals such as IBPS, SBI, UPSC, NTA (NEET, JEE, CUET) and university forms accept. Always match the size and dimensions given in the official notification for your exam.

Is it safe? Do you upload my photo?

Your photo is never uploaded. ToolDabba compresses images inside your own browser, so the file never leaves your phone or computer. It even keeps working if your internet drops after the page has loaded.
